It can help minimize wrinkles, moisturize and soften skin as well as restore facial volume. Depending on the person’s age, genetic makeup, and skincare routine, Juvederm fillers differ in concentration.

Juvederm is a type of non-surgical skin treatment, meaning the process is painless, quick, and affordable in comparison to other surgical treatments. The fillers contain hyaluronic acid (HA), a powerful humectant that draws in moisture from the air and gives the skin a smoother and softer look. When injected into the skin, it directly penetrates the parts of the dermis that are maturing and naturally slowing down, ultimately helping in speeding up the regeneration process. How Long Do Juvederm Results Last?

Depending on the area and injection volume, the Juvederm procedure can take anywhere between 15 minutes and 1 hour. The procedure is relatively painless and administered with a numbing cream.

Botox Procedure Duration

Botox injections are completed in less than an hour. More injections are necessary in case the surface area is larger. Like Juvederm, the procedure only requires the use of a topical cream since it’s pain-free.

Costs

The price of both treatments depends on a number of factors: the treatment area, number of injections, how often they’re being administered as well as the clinic providing them. Insurance does not cover either procedure.

Juvederm costs

Juvederm is the pricier option when it comes to wrinkle reduction. However, it also produces longer-lasting effects than Botox. Depending on the skin surface, formula type, and the number of injections, it can cost anywhere between $400 and $605 per syringe. 

Botox costs
